The Sixth Pay Commision done great injustice to the postal assistant cadre, accountants, TBOP, LSG & HSG-II.Several anti labour recommendations have been made. The 6th CPC ingnored Group-C & D cadres. The Demands of the postal dept rejected, observe protest day and hold demonstrations send memorandums to the finance minister & central trade unions.
-D.Kishan Rao.
General Secretary.
It is a very pathetic treatment meted out to the Group-c employees who keeps the engine going. With this report it is requested immediately to submit a memorandum to the DG that no business post activities like selling prasadam tickets, procuring business from various parties can be carried forward any more, the technology activities cannot be carried out as the DG failed to project properly to the Pay commission that the employees were giving their best and they require due recognization of their services.
Instead of giving a strike call i advise you to give a call with concurrency of other union to slow down the activities relating to implementation of technology products by asking all the system administrator in India to carry out duties other than technology related till the DG knows the efforts of the Group-C employees. In the similar way the Business activties also to be knocked out.
Going on Strike is benefiting the government but not the employee any way. Employees have lost 14 days salary. Act rationally. Demand for increase of the Grade pay of T/s,TBOP and BCR officials by another Rs.3000 at the least.

It is requested to get the time bound promotions period get reduced to 8, 16,24 rather having them at 16 and at 26 years. If this can be achieved then even if the same pay commission report is accepted by the government the employees can get the benefit of the 8700-34800 as many employees are reaching the 16 years of service within near future. As the promotions can be made done within the purview of the DG himself.
