One member seeks clarfication that transfer of longest stayed official is applicable to Metropolitan cities also?
According to the Directorate orders P.A's in four metropolitan cities viz., Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkata and Chennai are not liable for transfer outside their city units. For LSG postings, city Units is to be taken as a single unit. But they can be transferred outside the City Units when they are promoted to HSG II and HSG I cadres.
