Waival of examination fees for women candidates

The Govt. of India had decided to exempt women candidates from payment of fees for future competitive examinations held by the UPSC and Staff Selection Commission. The Govt. says that this is in consonance with the President of India speech in the Parliament. The Govt. order will be published in the Postal Sentinel, July 2009 issue.
