Implementation of GDS Committee Recommendations

The General Secretary alng with Shri.B.Shivakumar (AGS) met the DDG (Estt.) on 15th September 2009. He said that the GDS Committee receommendations file is sent to Election Commission for approval since the Govt. had announced State Assembly Elections for the three States, Maharashtra, Haryana and Arunachal Pradesh and code of conduct is in operation now. If the election commission approves today, the file may go to Cabinet tomorrow for approval in the Cabinet Meeting. We have to wait for the disposal of the election commission. We learnt that Natraj Murti Committee recommendations is being accepted by the Govt.

Regarding ACP, the JS (FA) is in HQrs and she was reminded today also by the DDG. As soon as she approves the order will be released in one or two days.
