THE GENERAL SECRETARY IS PURSUING THE EXTENSION OF HSG I PROMOTIONS WHICH WERE GRANTED AS ONE TIME MEASURE AND EXTENDED FURTHER,PENDING APPROVAL OF NEW RECRUITMENT RULES.TODAY THE GS MET THE CONCERNED OFFICERS OF THE DEPARTMENT AND THE FILE RELATING TO THE FURTHER EXTENSION WAS SENT TO THE DOP&T AND ORDERS ARE EXPECTED IN A DAY OR TWO. IN TAMILNADU CIRCLE THE OFFICIALS ARE COMPLETING 6 MONTHS BY 30TH AND ORDERS ARE EXPECTED BEFORE THE DATE.

IN TAMILNADU CIRCLE NEARLY 100 VACANCIES ARE THERE IN THE HSG-I CADRE. 49 HSG-II REGULAR OFFICIALS ARE AWAITING FOR HSG-I ADHOC PROMOTION. KINDLY DO THE NEEDFUL FOR ISSUING ORDERS TO TAMILNADU CIRCLE ADMINISTRATION TO RELEASE THE ADHOC HSG-I LIST IMMEDIATELY.

Thanks for effectively pursuing the matter at Dte level. In Tamilnadu Circle,alongwith the grant of extension, if the recently promoted 49 HSG-II officials are also given HSG-I adhoc promotion, the chain vacancies in HSG-II also can be filled on adhoc basis with the large number of LSG Officials who are awaiting promotion for about 6 years. In Kerala and AP circles it is done very smoothly as a matter of routine.
In TN Circle, you are aware that last year the break in HSG-I & II adhoc arrangements was done in an unplanned and hasty manner which caused unnecessary disloctions even down to LSG cadres. Due to the so called '180 days arrangement' Supervisors suffered a lot and it was unnecessarily expensive to the Administration also.
Hope this will not happen this year in view of your valuable intervention. Kindly follow it up and help us Sir.

You have support of lower staff and u can achieve the result through pressure. Why don't you take IPO/ASPOs with you as in the Income tax deptt .In Income tax department Inspectors are with class 3 Union and hence they got justice. IPOs/ASPos will never get justice.

One of the IPOs/ASPOs has requested to takeup their issue of adhoc promotions on the lines of Incometax depart where they are with Group.C and achieve justice. But in our department the situation is not the same, our GroupC brothers are treated as their enemies and this redtapism also has denied the position of Gazetted status magnanimously given by the DOPT to our HSG-I/HSG-II brothers.
So sir my sincere request is first let the IPO/ASP brothers accept that they are with group.c union and also allow the HSG-I/HSG-II officials to get their Gazetted status and then takeup their issue for their promotions.
