THE GENERAL SECRETARY ALONG WITH SG FNPO MET CHAIRMAN OF THE COMMITTEE ON CADRE RESTRUCTURING AND DISCUSSED ON THE PROPOSALS SUBMITTED BY THE NAPEC AND REQUESTED FOR THE FORMAL MEETING .THE DDG(Estt) AGREED TO NOTIFY THE MEETING ON 27TH OF THIS MONTH

THE GENERAL SECRETARY MET THE MEMBER (P) AND DISCUSSED ABOUT THE NOTIFICATION OF OFFICES FOR THE POSTMASTER CADRE AND BROUGHT TO THE NOTICE THAT IN TAMILANDU OFFICES WEE DOWNGRADED AND OFFERED.IN A.P ALL THE SUBSTANDARD OFFICES WERE OFFERED TO THE CADRE AND LOT OF CONFUSION IS CREATED IN GIVING THE OPTIONS.IN OTHER CIRCLES NO OFFICES WERE IDENTIFIED FOR THE STAFF TO DECIDE THE OPTIONS BY THE OFFICIALS. DETAILED REPORTS ARE REQUESTED FROM THE CIRCLE SECRETARIES TO TAKE UP WITH DIRECTORATE.
3.THE GS MET THE MINISTER OF STATE FOR COMMUNICATION SRI GURUDAS KAMATAND INVITED FOR THE AIC FOR WHICH THE MINISTER AGREED

Since the matter stands at that confusion stage, in AP circle, particularly Vijayawada Region, the last date for submision of options was placed for 21/23/27.12.10.What shall the officials do.Pl.guide.

The stand of the Genl Secretary is very correct.There is lot of confusion in giving the options. What will be the status of the officials who have given option and are not selected by the screening committee?. If option is not given then what will be status of the officials working in the offices which are now being designated for PM cadre?.Transfers are inevitable for many officials whether they opt for or opt out of the PM cadre.
Please guide us. And at the same time the last date for submission of options varies from divn to divn.

Your observation is correct.So far, no assurance/guidance/swift initiative was forthcoming from union side that the officials concerned are in absolutely in confound stage. Factually,as per existing revised rules, PM III cadre will not be filled up that no official in the circle did not complete 5 years in HSG-II as well as PM-II that No official appears to be completed 6 years in LSG.Come for, PM-I, there is chance for seniors who may opt for PM-III, rest of posts will be going through the examination.So, the fast track batch will stand at cross roads that they are not meeting the said conditions and what would happen to their present norm based cadre. whether it will be progressed hand in hand with PM cadre and benefits extends to the said will go for norm based posts or not.What is deptt`s mind about the cadre of LSG/HSG-II/HSG-I after this PM cadre formation.The fancy of said Normbased posts are going to be.There are plenty of questions arising on the subject. I think this platform will not sufficient.All these points to be arised and discussed with the Department by the competant union leaders.First, I may pl. be pardoned for one thing that the unions are bluntely resisted the fast track scheme in past that the juniors will take precedence over seniors with 10 years of service. But, what is going to be happened now with 5 years, the people are coming to occupy the PM I.
