THE DEPARTMENT ISSUED ORDERS ON SYLLABUS FOR THE EXAMINATION TO THE POSTMASTER GRADE -I (LSG) AT THE FEEDER CADRE.CIRCLE SECRETARIES ARE REQUESTED TO ASK THE CPMGS TO DISCUSS ABOUT IDENTIFICATION OF POSTS IN THE THREE CADRES.ADVISE THE OFFICIALS OPTING TO THE CADRE CAREFULLY.

WITHOUT GIVING NOTIFICATION OF THE OFFICES SELECTED UNDER POSTMASTER CADRE-I,II AND III IN TAMILNADU CIRCLE, THEY HAVE CALLED FOR WILLINGNESS FROM THE LSG,HSG-II AND HSG-I OFFICIALS FOR POSTING IN THE POSTMASTER CADRE BY THE APMG STAFF, TAMILNADU CIRCLE WITH IN A STIPULATED PERIOD WHICH IS HIGHLY IRREGULAR. THIS CAUSES VERY MUCH UPSETTING THE STAFF AND LOT OF CONFUSION AMONG THEM WHETHER TO OPT FOR POSTMASTER CADRE ARE NOT. KINDLY CAUSE INSTRUCTIONS THROUGH DTE TO RELEASE THE IDENTIFIED OFFICES IN TAMILNADU IMMEDIATELY TO ALL THE REGIONAL OFFICES FOR FURTHER ACTION IN THIS REGARDS.
Unions were against the continuation of the FTP scheme and we got it scrapped only to benefit the socalled seniors. Now the department has changed the nomenclature as Postmaster's cadre and again conducting examination wherein PAs with 5 years service are eligible to become LSG supervisors. When we have opposed to FTP scheme wherein PAs with 10 years service were allowed to write the examn is it not funny to accept the Postmasters cadre scheme.

I appreciate the stand of NAPE with regrd to Postmaster Cadre. However we should be care ful in the implementation procedure because the fox like officers will not allow the operative staff to come up. Every departmental official should welcome the postmaster cadre because a personal joined as a Postal Assistant should not retire as Postal Assistant whate ever be the word before Postal Assistant at the time of retirement(BCR, TBOP or MACP). Though there may not be an attractive financial benefit it should be welcomed first because change for a good cause should not be stopped
This is regarding Syllubus of Postmaster Cadre examination. The DOP has just given some syllubus. What about the reference books for the examination. How a departmental examination can be held to the departmental employees without referring/supplying the books at least up to divisional level. Please think off it.
