NOTIFICATION
In
modification of Notification of 3-38/05-PG dated 16th September,
2005 and subsequent modification regarding designating Central public
information Officers and Appellate Authorities of the Department of Post for
the field units. It is hereby notified that ADM (PLI) is nominated as CPIO and
DPS (HQ) o/o CPMG Karnataka Circle remains to be the appellate authority. The
nominated officers would be authorized to issue final reply to information seekers
pertaining to their field as Central public information officers.
All
Assistance is necessary for discharging the duties of the CPIOs shall be made
available by other officers as per Section 5(4) and 5(5) of the Right to
Information Act 2005.

Sub: Admissibility or otherwise of
special allowance to the PO & RMS Accountants
promoted under MACP/TBOP/BCR
scheme - regarding
Attention
is invited to para 3 of this Directorate letter No. 1-02/2011-PAP dated
d28/31-8-2012 vide which recommendations of Santosh Gauriar Committee were given
effect from the date of issue of the OM.
The
issue has been recommended and it has now been decided to give effect to the OM
from 1st September 2008 (date of commencement of MACP Scheme).
However, the same will not be admissible
to TBOP/BCR officials prior to 1.9.2008.
