The Postman cadre got scale upgradation in 5th and 6th CPCs.But the PA cadre was neglected in the 6th CPC.All of us remember that much discussions were made in this subject.Now.........,in the joint memorandum also,the Postal assistants were again neglected.Upto the 5th CPC,the entry scale of a Postal assistant was never less than any promotional scale of a Postman.Now,the picture is totally changed.
