Request to get revised option from eligible official for re-fixation of pay on
amendment of Rule of 13 CCS RP –reg.
The DOPT vide OM no 13/12/2017–ESTT(Pay-I) have amended the
rule of 13 CCS RP rule and instructed to
follow new methodology in supersession of the method available at the time of
notification .
The employees who have been disadvantageous of not getting
the difference of Grade pay on their upgradataion /promotion have revised their opti9nf accordingly on availing
the additional one more time provided in clarificatory OM 1-6/2016-IC dtd 29.9.2016 from Implementation Cell of Department of Expenditure . Now the
latest decision of the nodal Ministry in revising the methodology of fixation of pay to the upgradation
/promotion some of the official are bound to get benefit in the revised pay
structure wherein the difference of grade pay is allowed to be drawn from date
of promotion /upgradation to the date of
DNI. Hence such of the officials are entitled to giving one more option in the
wake of new methodology as per rule 6 (1) of CCS RP rule 2016.
Kindly instruct the DDO to get the revised option from eligible
official before the prescribed time
limit and re-fix the pay as per the new methodology.
A copy of the OMs referred to above are enclosed for ready
reference .
