The Committee headed by Sri.K.M.Chandrasekhar, Cabinet Secretary and comprising of Secretaries of key Ministries including Dept. of Posts submitted its report to the Prime Minister on 28.7.08. It is understood that the committee had made only minor changes that too in respect of defence personnels.
The Prime Minister will present this report at the next meeting of the Cabinet and if cleared, implemented thereafter.
We are hopeful that entire exercise may not take more than ten days provided the Cabinet does not call for any clarification.

I am now in USA in connection with some personal purposes. In fact I was very eagerly awaiting final decision position of CPC report.
