MoS meeting with Union Leaders

The Minister of State for Communications & I.T Shri.Jyotirajya Scindia invited the recognized Unions for a meeting on the 12th November 2008 at his office in Electronic Niketan at 11.00 A.M. The FNPO was represented by the S.G and General Secretaries of NUPE-C, NUPE PM&Gr.D and NURMSE Mail Guard and Group D. The Minister had appealed the Union leaders to give their unilateral support to Project Arrow, a scheme devised by him for serving the public in a most efficient manner. He said as a first step , he wanted the Post Offices to be provided with all modern amenities for which he could secure the required finance from the Govt. of India.

When some leaders pointed out that in delay delivery of letters is due to the present policy adopted by the department, he replied that he is aware of the problem and assured to overcome that after improving the infrastructure of the Post Offices.
