The Department has addressed all the Heads of Circles to intimate whether the officials who were on strike have got enough E L at their credit after obtaining a letter from the individual officials and the amount required for payment of salaries as per 2000 year pay. After obtaining the particulars, the department may go to Finance Ministry for the funds.
We don't think that the circles will respond quickly and therefore the issue may not be settled in the near future.
