One viewer had commented as to why the Union is not holding national level seminar to enable to share the views of the department with the System Adminisgtrators and the Unions view. The matter was already taken up with the Department after we held a separate meeting of System Admi.nistrators of Kerala Circle and we had revealed our stand through our journal. The department is yet to respond officially and replied to us that it will consider the proposal when cadre restructuring proposal is taken up. We are urging the department to convene a meeting regarding cadre restructure very early. Once the department reveals its views, we feel that it would be better to share the same with the System Administrators.
In the U P Circle Seminar held on 08-11-2009 our proposal was totally endorsed by the System Administrators. We do not want to comment more on this viewer's comments in the website.

Are u trying to say that the meeting conducted by NFPE with more than 500 SAs from various part of the country is going to be in vain and Member (Technology) will not be disclosing the Department's stand in the Seminar on 21.11.2009. Or are u trying to justify the main wonderful demand ! - that the pay of System Administrators should be below the Postmasters
Let us wait and see !
Pl do not try to escape from the organisational shortcomings and issues of SAs with silly answers.
It is known to we all that most of ourAPMs/Postmasters/Inspectors/
supdt knows nothing about Technology but this is unique Deptt where hard working employees like Sys Admin demands are being ignored from every corner . Every where there is loot in the name of Modernisation / Project Arrow and Union is seeing all these as a mute spectator . Why not Union play effective role to curb these malpractices . There is some thing wrong behind it . There is huge fund with the Depptt for loot but no money to regognise Sys Admin as a separate cadre with separate pay scale . If union is so ignorant about demands of Sys Admin . Do not Worry , wait , remind our sister Deptt fate TELECOM now BSNL where officers used to make loot in laying cables and now running in heavy loss and private players are blooming.
DOP will face the same music within 3 years i.e 2013 . It will be corporatised and Union will face same problem like BSNL and lower cadre employees will be penalised for no faults by the corrupt bureaucracy .
It is my advice to all Unions not to be alert . Be relax , neither foreign tour nor any priviledge after 2013 . Employees will ever remind your contribution in fall of DOP work culture .
