Relieiving of AAOs

It is reported that Tamil NaduCircle Administration is not relieving the officials who are promoted to the AAO cadre. The CHQ took up this issue with the Postal Directorate and urged Member (P) to order early reief to them. The Secretary General, FNPO also had urged the Secretary (Posts) and the Member (P) to issue immediate instructions to the CPMG, T.N Circle to relieve the promoted officials.

Thanks for your continued efforts taken to get the officials relieved on AAO promotion. The promotion prospects to operative staff are very meagre and one cannot aspire to make a Gazetted Officer that easy. Considering the fact that ample opportunities are not provided to the staff who are zealous of advancement, atleast admn. should not put barriers across their career.

In computerisation of POs, TN Circle stands second in the Nation next to Maharashtra. The no. of offices selected for Core Banking in Tamilnadu Circle is comparatively higher than most of the Circles. To attain this stage a large number of operative workforce has put in selfless efforts and hardwork which cannot not be neglected. Unfortunately while other Circles with poor performance have rewarded their staff with their due promotion without delay, it is deplorable that TN Circle is the least concerned about promotions.
Kindly see that they are relieved at the earliest.
