CADRE RESTRUCTURING IN THE DOP

9 NAPE Group-C November 25, 2010

AS YOU ARE AWARE THAT THE NAPEC AND FNPO SUBMITTED PROPOSALS FOR THE CADRE RESTRUCTURING ON 21-09-2010 AND AWAITING FOR THE FIRST MEETING ON THE SUBJECT.IN THE WEBSITES OF NFPE IT IS MENTIONED THAT THERE IS A MEETING ON THE CADRE RESTRUCTURING ON 26-11-2010 ,WHICH WE ARE UNAWARE AND THE GS NAPEC IS A MEMBER AND SG FNPO IS AN INVITEE FOR THE COMMITTEE MEETINGS.THE GS CONTACTED AND IT IS CONFIRMED THAT THERE IS NO FORMAL MEETING AS SUCH.THIS IS ONLY TO CLEAR THE CONFUSION.FORMAL MEETING WILL BE HELD IN DUE COURSE.

I think the department is not serious about this issue. The department should have held official meetings in this regard by this time since Unions have already submitted its proposals. Urge the department to hold meeting immediately.

It was assured and ordered by the department that the cadre restructuring committee will submit its recommendations by November 2nd week.Now even the first meeting is not yet convened.The unions are not taking any sincere effort.As usual,the Government decides what and when to do.The unions cannot and will not do anything.

WHEN NFPE DELGATES HAD AN INFORMAL MEETING WITH OFFICAL SIDE ON 23-11-2010 WHY OUR UNION REPRESENTATIVE NOT BEEN INVITED? ARE WE SECOND RATED UNION?. THERE IS NO FORMAL MEETING SO FAR IN THIS REGARD THOUGH IT WAS ASSURED THAT THE CADRE RESTRUCTURING WOULD BE COMPLETED BY THE END OF NOVEMBER 2010? WHERE IT WENT WRONG?

Dear Sir,
You have informed that the formal meeting will be held in due course.
Whereas in the AIPEU website they have published that the meeting was already held on 23.11.2010 with theiur representatives.
Which is correct. Why this stepmotherly treatment to our Union which is affiliated to the INTUC .

Our union did submit the proposals on cadre restructure in very advance.But,as per the information it is revealing that the meeting was held on the subject on 23.11.2010 in the absense of our union. Whether this was done deliberately ? pl. clear the matter sir since the members are perplex state.

The nfpe is again concentrating on the issues of postman.They want 3 promotions in 20 years for postman without assigning any responsibility.The postman was blessed with upgradations in the 5th and 6th cpc.The PAs stand where they were. The nfpe is not all interested in the issues of PAs.Our union should not neglect the PA cadre.We should not forget that they are recruited from the academic creamy layer.

Please compare the duties and responsibilities of a postman and a postal assistant.Then why the nfpe is neglecting the pa cadre.Let our union rise to the occasion.
