HSG I promotion - Relaxation of recruitment rules

It is learnt that the DoP&T is not in favor of granting one more extension for promotion to HSG I cadre in relaxation of recruitment rules. However, the Dept. of Posts will move again with the DoP&T pointing out that the recruitment rules to the HSG I cadre is yet to be approved by the DoP&T and the same is also to be approved by the UPSC and the law ministry. Hence it will take months to finalise the recruitment rules and in view of this, seek one more extension.
